Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Neom megacity project promises to be a futuristic marvel, designed to allow people to “dream big” and redefine urban living. Here’s a closer look at the key regions planned for this epic development.

The Line

At the heart of Neom lies The Line, a revolutionary urban concept devoid of roads, cars, or emissions. Designed to accommodate millions, recent reports suggest a downsizing of its population projection. Ethical concerns have been raised about potential surveillance due to its innovative design.

Oxagon

Located on the Red Sea coast, Oxagon is envisioned as an octagonal city with a sustainable port. Part of it will extend into the sea, with a floating section touted as the world’s largest. Plans aim to accommodate 90,000 residents by 2030, aligning with the Vision 2030 agenda.

Sindalah

As Neom’s first region nearing completion, Sindalah aims to be a luxury island resort. Intended to attract the global yachting community, it boasts exclusive amenities like beach clubs, spas, and yacht clubs.

Trojena

Nestled in Tabuk’s mountains, Trojena is Neom’s adventure hub, featuring 36 km of ski slopes. It’s expected to generate thousands of jobs and host 700,000 tourists annually by 2030.

The Gulf Of Aqaba

The Gulf of Aqaba region includes Epicon, a luxury destination with ultra-luxury hotels, residential offerings, and unique experiences like boutique hotels, beach clubs, and wellness retreats. Plans aim to transform this area into a haven for luxury travelers and adventure seekers alike.

As Neom continues to take shape, these regions represent the diverse facets of Saudi Arabia’s grand vision for the future, blending innovation, sustainability, and luxury on an unprecedented scale.
