Mukesh Ambani's Security Concerns: Another Death Threat Demands Rs 400 Cr

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has once again received a death threat via email, with the sender demanding an extortion amount of Rs 400 crore, according to Mumbai police.

Increased Threat and Demands

The emailer, who had previously demanded Rs 200 crore in a threatening email, escalated the amount to Rs 400 crore due to a lack of response to the initial communication. The sender expressed confidence in evading police tracking and arrest, asserting the capability to carry out the threat despite Ambani’s security measures.

The threatening email stated, “Now it is increased to 400 crore rupees, police can’t track me, they can’t arrest me, that’s why we have no problem killing you, no matter how good your current security is, but he is the only one of our sniper who can kill you.”

Previous Threats and Legal Action

This incident follows a similar threat earlier, where Ambani was warned of dire consequences if he did not pay Rs 200 crore. Mumbai police took action based on the complaint filed by Ambani’s security in-charge, registering a case against an unknown individual under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) related to extortion and criminal intimidation.

It’s worth noting that in October of the previous year, the Bihar Police arrested a man from Bihar’s Darbhanga for issuing threats to kill Ambani and his family members, highlighting the seriousness of such threats and the legal repercussions they entail.

The recurrence of such threats underscores the ongoing security challenges faced by high-profile individuals like Mukesh Ambani and the need for robust measures to ensure their safety and protection against potential risks.
